Foster Responsibilities (What You Cover)
Fosters provide a safe and loving home for their foster dog while we search for their forever home. You cover basic needs such as feeding, walking, and belly rubs. Let us know what you learn about your foster dog, snap a couple pictures, and help us get to know them. We cover the rest!
Rescue Responsibilities (What We Cover)
We provide everything you need to foster! Crate, food, leash, collar, preventative medications, and so on are all provided to you for your foster dog. We handle all supplies, costs, and vetting while your foster dog is in your care. If your foster is going through medical treatment (such as heartworms), we will let you know when your foster has vet appointments. If you can’t take them, that’s ok! We can arrange transportation if you are unavailable. Have an upcoming trip planned? No problem! We will find a temporary foster for the dates you are gone or set them up in boarding until you return.
Foster Process
Foster applications can be completed here. If you are interested in joining the team of life-savers and signing up to foster, please complete a foster application and someone from our team will be in touch ASAP once received. A foster agreement and foster home inspection are done prior to becoming an approved foster. Joy’s Promise is based out of Jackson, GA. Fosters must live within 1-2 hours of Jackson.
